Edge Bare Metal Servers Now Daily, 3-Day and Weekly Contracts
HostColor now offers Edge Dedicated Servers for lease on short-term contracts, ranging from 24-hour, 3-day, and 1-week options. Custom time-sensitive contracts are also available upon request.
Customers can choose from three cloud-ready bare metal server configurations, available in HC's American and international data centers.
10 Cores, 128 GB RAM
The first entry-level Edge Dedicated Server configuration is based on the Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processor with 128GB of RAM and 480GB of SSD storage.
32 Cores, 256 GB RAM
The second edge configuration features a bare metal server with dual (2x) Intel Xeon Gold 6226R processors, 256 GB of RAM, and a 2.4 TB NMVe storage array.
32 Cores, 382 GB RAM
The third bare-metal configuration features a Dual (2x) Intel Xeon Gold 5218N CPU, 384 GB RAM, and a 10 TB storage array, comprising four (4x) 1.92 TB SSD and two (2x) 1.6 TB NMVe drives.
The Linux OS distributions available for selection are Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Rocky Linux 9, Rocky Linux 8, Debian 12, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 9.3, 9.0, 8.5, and 7.9.
The Edge Bare Metal Servers are made for companies that need Hosted Private Cloud infrastructure and data protection with customized firewall rules and local storage. They are also great for companies that need to offer Public Cloud services over a high-speed network with network latency between 1 and 5 milliseconds to a specific local urban area.
