Customization & Managed Services

The Hosted Private Clouds are not accessible via the public internet and do not use public IP addresses. Your dedicated private cloud server infrastructure features a dedicated firewall and a virtual private network (VPN) configured to your custom security requirements. The processing resources (CPU), memory (RAM) and data storage disk are scalable on demand. The default operating system (Os) of your Cloud server is a Linux distribution. If you need to use private cloud infrastructure for Linux-based Cloud PCs, we recommend the open-source OS - Peppermint. It is based on the Debian/Devuan repositories. To use a Windows OS, make sure that you have configured a cloud server with the following (or better) computing resource specifications:
Windows 10: 2 vPCU cores, 3 GB RAM, and 40 GB of data storage
Windows 11: 2 vPCU cores, 4 GB RAM, and 80 GB of data storage
Windows Server: 2 vPCU cores, 8 GB RAM, and 80 GB of data storage

Why HC's Hosted Private Cloud Servers?

We provide reliable Hosted Private Cloud with unmetered data transfer and no charges for infrastructure support, IOPS, DNS zones, DNS queries, and overage data transfer. You can add High Availability or a Failover Cloud service, VPN & Firewall, or connect your Hosted Private Cloud to a Public Cloud server. If you need a Dedicated Private Cloud (see Bare-Metal Dedicated Servers).
Hosted Private Clouds

HOSTED PRIVATE CLOUD

Create a custom, secure Hosted Private Cloud infrastructure for your private workloads - Cloud Desktops, Administration, Accounting, Office Management, technology development, etc. - and save money on data transfer. All Private Clouds use Unmetered Data Transfer and Fault-Tolerant SATA or SSD data storage. Your data is safely hosted on a Storage Area Network (SAN) with built-in protection that safeguards the information under any circumstances without performance impact.
High Availability

HA Private Cloud

High Availability (HA) increases your Hosted Private Cloud infrastructure uptime and reduces application downtime. HA function monitors your private cloud server for an outage on the physical infrastructure or an OS failure inside your server. If any of these occurs, the HA automatically restarts your private cloud and it resumes operations. Please note that the High Availability protects you from downtime on a cloud infrastructure level, but does not prevent interruption of the services on an application level.
Fault-Tolerant SAN

100% Cloud Infrastructure Uptime

HC offers a Failover Hosted Private Cloud service. It prevents application downtime result of a server OS failure or outage on the physical infrastructure. The Failover Cloud service features a redundant virtual instance that is a mirrored and fully synchronized copy of your main private cloud server. If it fails, the redundant server takes on automatically and prevents an interruption of your applications and workflows.
Cloud Management

Cloud Management

Manage your Hosted Private Cloud server and all services from a single dashboard in your HostColor Account. Install and reinstall the server's operating system, monitor resource usage, and take full control of your cloud environment.
Infrastructure On Demand

Fault-Tolerant Storage

Our Storage Area Networks feature built-in data protection that safeguards your data under any circumstances without performance impact. The data protection includes Increased application availability; Multi-path and failover; Reduce impact risks of disk failures; Flexible configurations for various storage plans, etc.

What to Consider?

All VMware ESXi-based Hosted Private Cloud Servers can be scaled up in CPU, RAM, and Storage at any time. You can start with fewer computing resources and increase them on the go. Choose your server carefully by:
Virtual CPU

Virtual CPU (vCPU)

One virtual CPU (vCPU) is equivalent to 1 physical CPU core. As a user of HostColor's cloud infrastructure services, you can scale up and down the vCPU resources on your Private Cloud server based on your users' demands, something you cannot do on a Bare-Metal Dedicated server.
Storage Type

Storage Type

All HC's Hosted Private Clouds use reliable data storage. You can choose between two different types of data storage area networks (SAN) - our standard SAN and a Fault-Tolerant SAN. Both networks feature various data storage service options - SATA HDD, SAS, SSD, or NMVe-powered disk space. Choose a storage service based on the amount of work that needs to be done.
Bandwidth or Data Transfer

NetWork, Bandwidth & Data Transfer

Do you have experience with internet network management? It is important to understand how data transfer works and what is the difference between bandwidth and data transfer. HostColor allows you to monitor your network connection and the incoming and outgoing data transfer on your cloud server. When you customize your server, choose an "Internet Port" and "Data Transfer" quota.
Network Performance Analytics

Cloud Server GUI (Control panel)

Do you need to manage your server with a graphical user interface (GUI)? Consider using an open-source control panels like CentOS Web Panel (CWP), Vesta, Froxlor, aaPanel, Webmin, Virtualmin, Ajenti, Sentora, Blueonyx, Easy Hosting Control Panel (EHCP), i-MSCP, ApisCP, or ZesleCP. You can also choose cPanel or DirectAdmin.
IT Hosting Security

Cloud Access & Security

Consider using a custom-built, encrypted Virtual Private Network (VPN). HostColor will deploy a business-class VPN solution for you. We provide you with both server-side VPN security and a user-side desktop VPN client that allows you to define and apply your own custom security policy.
Managed Services

Unmanaged or Managed Cloud

All HC's Private Clouds are "Self-managed" (Unmanaged) by default and do not feature management services. This means that you - as the owner of the cloud server - are responsible for the securing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overall management of your server environment and all software applications installed on it.

Why Our Private Clouds?

Fault-Tolerant Storage

Fault-Tolerant Storage

Your data is hosted on a fault-tolerant Storage Area Network (SAN) with built-in protection that safeguards the information under any circumstances without performance impact.
Highly Availability Cloud

Highly Availability

High Availability (HA) is not an average computing service. HA reduces IT service unavailability in an event of OS or physical host failure. 95% of the Cloud services you'd find don't support it. We do! It is a value added service to your Hosted Private Cloud.
Business Continuity Cloud

Business Continuity

Our Automated Fault-Tolerance service eliminates the risk of a service outage. It provides continuous availability for your Private Cloud, remote desktops, workstations & applications and workloads.
